We are seekingHVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpersfor projects in the local area.

The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate assemble install and repair sheet metal products and equipment such as ducts in residential commercial or industrial environments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Locate and mark position of pipe and/or duct connections and passage holes then cut openings to accommodate pipe and/or duct fittings.

  • Trim file grind deburr buff or smooth surfaces seams or joints of assembled parts using hand tools or portable power tools.

  • Install assemble repair and clean systems to include Heating Ventilation and air conditioning ducts or other sheet metal products.

  • Perform layout activities and material takeoffs as necessary

  • Study building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installation.

  • Promote maintain and adhere to OSHA regulations.

Experience:

  • At least 2 year of related experience.

  • Experience planning and layout.

  • Working experience using blueprints technical drawings and work orders.

Requirements:

  • Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

  • Have tools of the trades.
