Job Description
RESPEC seeks a Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our fullservice engineering team! We design innovative worldclass projects utilizing stateoftheart technologies.
The Senior AutoCAD Technician is responsible for developing engineering design drawings for civil infrastructure projects including highways mining roads water/sewer/storm drain utilities and site development improvements. This position will work closely with Land Surveyors; Geotechnical Environmental and Civil Engineers scientists; and project managers to ensure designs conform to applicable industry and quality standards budgetary requirements and internal or client CAD standards. The CAD Designer is also responsible for mentoring CAD technicians assisting with QA/QC of CAD deliverables and delegating work to CAD staff.
- Providing plan production services with teams of engineers and other technicians
- Coordinating with other project disciplines models and design teams
- Working from plan markups sketched information and verbal direction
- Working independently and with others while working on multiple projects
- Delivering quality documents using company standards and systems
Qualifications :
10 years of AutoCAD 3D design drafting experience. Work requires a thorough working knowledge of drafting techniques and proficiency in the use of CAD workstations and associated peripherals to develop finished drawings. Accuracy quality completeness and schedule adherence can be maintained independently while maintaining and increasing proficiency in operations and recommending new methods and procedures.

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. RESPEC is a 100 percent employeeowned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
