Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in gastroenterological diagnostics to effectively identify evaluate and manage digestiverelated health conditions. (Mandatory skill)
- Solid understanding of hepatology with a strong interest in liver functions and related disorders. (Mandatory skill)
- Comprehensive knowledge of gastroenterology focusing on the health of the digestive system. (Mandatory skill)
- Demonstrated expertise in endoscopy techniques to carry out safe and accurate examinations of the digestive tract.
- Skilled in performing colonoscopy procedures ensuring patient comfort and accurate diagnosis of colonic conditions.
- Ability to manage inflammatory bowel disease with uptodate treatment and patient management practices.
- Experience with ERCP to diagnose and treat conditions related to the pancreatic and bile ducts accurately.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound technology for comprehensive examinations within gastroenterology practice.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and effective treatment strategies.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about gastrointestinal diseases and treatment options.
- Stay updated with new research and advancements in gastroenterology to incorporate best practices into patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Participate in continuous medical education and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and ethical guidelines in all aspects of patient care and service delivery.
