Job Description
Tired of doing Warranty Work all day Used Car Super Center is looking for an Automotive State Safety Inspector. We are part of Berglund Automotive a wellestablished and reputable automotive group with 10 locations representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia.
Job Summary:
As a safety inspector you will be responsible for performing state inspections on customers vehicles in accordance with Virginia State law while maintaining a positive relationship with customers and technicians in the shop.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform state inspections on customers vehicles in accordance with Virginia State law.
- Conduct safety inspections as outlined in the inspection manual.
- Report repair needs or safety concerns to the store manager.
- Ensure compliance with state codes and regulations.
- Keep up to date with state inspection bulletins.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Comply with established safety programs including wearing protective eyewear.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia State Inspection License.
- Experience as an automotive technician a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
