HSE CONSULTANT OSHA 1910 JOB DESCRIPTION
The HSE Consultant is an HSE Professional whoprovides professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of environmental health and safety programs for all Clients.
General Duties:
The HSE Consultants duties would include but are not limited to the following:
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal state and local legislation and codes governing environmental health and safety.
Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Designs training for all employer clients and internal staff.
Makes recommendations to client companies in regards to safety compliance.
Develops and implements recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
Conducts onsite Risk Assessments and audits of client operations and facilities.
Responds and provides assistance to all emergency situations.
Interaction with potential clients regarding potential sales of safety products and services.
Travels to visit clients worksites to ensure compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Attends conferences meetings and continuing education courses to keep uptodate on new safety procedures to applicable codes and regulations
Qualifications:
BA / BS degree required. Degree major or concentration in Industrial Hygiene Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years Health and Safety field experience
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft office applications
Good physical condition
Ability to travel
