Summary of Role:
The IT Finance Senior Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of the Information Technology department ensuring alignment with the companys financial strategies and goals. The role is responsible for budget planning financial analysis forecasting and ensuring IT expenditures remain efficient and costeffective. This role will collaborate closely with IT leadership and will lead a team that will drive financial improvements KPI performance and operational efficiencies.
As a senior leader this role partners with the Chief Information Officer and plays a critical role in the ongoing ERP transformation managing an annual spend of over $400M across the globe. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations Finance. Preferred location includes Austin/Dallas Texas and Malta New York.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the IT departments budget ensuring alignment with corporate financial strategies including portfolio allocation based on ROI and IRR and leveraging ZeroBased Budgeting.
Performance financial analysis forecasting and reporting for IT department expenditures and projects
Collaborate with IT leadership to evaluate financial performance Identify costsavings opportunities and drive efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with financial policies procedures and regulations.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking within IT department.
Monitor and control IT project costs including hardware software and personnel expenditures.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for financial operations
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits related to IT expenditures.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Supply Chain with >7 years related experience or an MBA with 4 years of related experience
Proven expert in creating results through both partnership and control
Expert in creating value through the application of zerobased budgeting
PowerPoint and Excel skills. ERP Anaplan PowerBI and Oracle FCCS is a plus
Significant Experience in executive communication (verbal and written)
Demonstrated excellence in managing people and building high performing teams
Demonstrated ability to develop and drive standardized processes and continuous improvement
Demonstrated excellence in accounting and financial analysis
Ability to manage large complex projects to conclusion with limited direction
Detailoriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong familiarity with GAAP or IFRS accounting practices
Strong understanding of financial principles budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
Systems experience in SAP or Hyperion
Related analyst experience in Information Technology Supply Chain or Semiconductor Manufacturing
