The Fairview Park City Schools has anopeningfor a LongTerm Educational AideatGillesSweet Elementary School. Thepositionis6hours per day 5days per week for the remainder of theschool year. Please see attached job description for detailed information.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
Educational Aide Permit (through ODE)
Friendly and polite demeanor
Ability to work well with staffstudentsand parents as a member of the team
Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
Experience with students with lowincidence disabilities and emotional disturbances
Familiarity with techniques/strategies for students with Autism
Deescalation and physical restraint training

GENERAL DUTIES:
Maintain written instructional and behavioral anecdotal records
Communicate with instructional staff as it pertains to the students performance and/or behavior parental concern and other issues
Implement instructional/behavioral programs as developed by the Intervention Specialist outside resource personnel and classroom teachers
Facilitate student academic/behavioral performance in class
Perform other duties assigned by the building principal and instructional staff

RATE OF PAY:
Pay scale starts at $16.01per hour (proper placement per the negotiated agreement)
