General Qualifications:
Must be sixteen 16 years of age or older
Must have a valid drivers license
Is consistently at work and on time
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to clean up work area
Must observe all school district safety P.P.E and security procedures
Warehouse assistant Duties:
Ability to lift bend and twist
Assist warehouse manager with unloading loading and inventory of items
Assist warehouse manager with making deliveries
Ability to work outdoors in cold hot and/or wet conditions
May assist other departments when need
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
