Job Description
Role overview:
This position requires a candidate with significant experience in markets and trade and should demonstrate a passion for financial markets.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Develop and implement a relationship management plan for existing customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decisionmakers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective twoway flow of information and resolution of issues. Collect feedback from identified customers or customer segments to ensure their needs are met providing themes summary analyses and recommendations for changes based on customer input.
Set clear objectives for each sales call; develop and make presentations that are tailored to the known interests needs issues and concerns of decisionmakers and influencers within the customer organization; gather and analyze relevant information; and gain agreement to a statement of customer requirements.
Configure a complex productandservices solution and associated contractual terms that meet the customers mid to longterm needs taking input from relevant internal specialists. Present the solution to customer representatives and negotiate agreement within a predefined range of commercial parameters or alternately review sales proposals from team members and authorize those that deviate from standard terms escalating issues to senior management where appropriate.
Deal on a medium scale by building material risk positions and managing more junior dealers or traders. Develop and maintain important client relationships in order to ensure profitability and identify future market opportunities.
Supervise others working within established operational systems.
Define deliver and adapt specialized financial products that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organizations policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Or identify within the team patterns of noncompliance with the organizations policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an indepth understanding of technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
