Gundersen Health System is seeking a RN Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) supporting Hospice and Palliative Care. This is your opportunity to work in a highly adaptable and mission driven organization while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.
What you will do:
1.0 FTE salaried role
Lead nursing orientation education competency and professional development with RNs Home Health Aides and other members of the Hospice Team.
Evaluate nursing practice assess practice gaps identify learning needs participate in process improvement projects and initiatives both within area of responsibility and at the system level
Prepare frontline staff with the knowledge and skills to provide high quality care and outstanding care experience in a supportive professionally satisfying environment
Work closely with amazing teams:
Hospice Leadership Team (Director Manager and Quality Improvement staff)
Professional Development Nurse colleagues throughout the organization

What you need:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Masters degree in Nursing required within 5 years
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin and Minnesota upon hire
What is preferred:
RN experiencein Hospice and/or Palliative Care
