Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Caterham Surrey. You will work autonomously with support from an experienced team and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services.
As an ANP you will be involved in providing advanced clinical care assessing and managing patients and working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced clinical assessments including history taking examination diagnosis and treatment of patients across a range of acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with the ANP role and relevant guidelines
- Provide highquality care and treatment to patients including managing minor injuries illnesses and longterm conditions
- Carry out clinical procedures as required ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to the development and implementation of clinical pathways and protocols
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients supporting the prevention and management of health conditions
- Participate in patient education and share best practices with the wider healthcare team
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical records in compliance with relevant regulations
- Act as a clinical leader providing mentorship and support to junior staff and nurses within the practice
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the delivery of patient care
- Support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective patient management
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
- Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent Prescriber qualification (or willingness to complete)
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care or a similar setting
- Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills
- Strong understanding of clinical guidelines protocols and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and the healthcare team
- Experience in managing longterm conditions minor injuries and urgent care
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A commitment to continuous professional development
Working Hours:
- Fulltime position with flexibility in hours
