Responsibilities
- Ensure that financial reports are completed on time in accordance with GAAP principles and that they accurately reflect financial position.
- Reconcilemore complex accounts and check the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete.
- Checkand analyzefinancial information and preparemore complex financial reports and Accounting statements to provide senior management with accurate and timely. information for making financial decisions.
- Providetechnical Accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities.
- Coach advise and/or trainlessexperienced accountants and serveas a point of escalation for more complex accounting issues.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelors degreeinFinance Accounting Statistics Economics Business Business Administration or related field
- 4 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of modern accounting and office methods and procedures
- Must possess a solid foundation in accounting fundamentals
- CPA certification or CPA exam eligible
- Experience with Finance ERP system
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others to obtain share verify and validate information
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
