Maths Teacher and Head of Year Role Summary:
Deliver outstanding Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 with potential for KS5
Contribute to the continued success of a highperforming department
Lead on the academic progress behaviour and wellbeing of a designated year group
Work closely with tutors pastoral teams and senior leaders to implement effective strategies
Use data to monitor student progress and support intervention planning
Build strong relationships with students families and external agencies
Support the Catholic values and inclusive ethos of the school
Play an active role in wholeschool initiatives and community events
Maths Teacher and Head of Year Candidate Profile:
Qualified Maths Teacher with UK QTS
Experience in a pastoral or leadership role is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Passionate about inclusive education and student development
Ambitious reflective and ready to contribute to schoolwide improvement
