Job Description
The Hollywood Beach Marriott is accepting applications for PM Bartenders to join our team at Latitudes Restaurant.
We offer our Bartender team a positive teamoriented work environment with benefits that include hotel room discounts worldwide free parking and employee shift meal.
The endless natural beauty of Floridas East Coast is vividly on display at the Hollywood Beach Marriott. We are perfectly positioned on the beach and the Boardwalk offering our guests an impeccable location from which to explore the area. Our guests can also enjoy our Latitudes Restaurant serving fresh Florida cuisine and lounge around our oceanfront pool without taking a step.
Compensation for our Bartenders is by an hourly rate plus tips. Our food and beverage operation is extremely busy and offers a high earning potential.
Daily activities of our Bartenders include tasks such as:
- Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested
- Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor bitters soda water sugar and fruits
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Monitor all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels
- Assist in ensuring patrons have a safe ride home calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Keep bar area clean safe and organized
- Maintain a wellstocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor beer wine mixers ice napkins straws glassware and other accessories
- Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Place orders for liquor beer wine and other supplies
- Slice pit and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
Successful Bartenders are energetic and passionate with a commitment to providing the very best in service in a fastpaced environment and will have the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends; the ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time and the ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Bartending experience is required (casual to finedining settings with wine service preferred). Safe alcohol service certification is also required.
