Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Clinical Intern to join our team and gain valuable handson experience in a clinical setting. The intern will work closely with healthcare professionals observing and participating in various aspects of patient care. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in the healthcare field to apply their knowledge and skills in a realworld environment.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Shadowing healthcare professionals and attending patient consultations.
2. Assisting with patient intake and documenting medical history.
3. Observing and participating in medical procedures and treatments under supervision.
4. Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide support in patient care.
5. Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and complying with all healthcare regulations.
6. Conducting research and assisting in the development of patient care plans.
7. Participating in educational opportunities and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
**Qualifications:**
1. Current enrollment in or recent graduate of an accredited healthcarerelated program (e.g. Nursing PreMed Medical Assisting).
2. Strong passion for pursuing a career in healthcare and desire to gain clinical experience.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare.
