Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in the logistics of receiving processing storing and shipping inventory. They ensure the warehouse operates efficiently safely and in compliance with company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unload incoming shipments verify contents against purchase orders and store items appropriately.
  • Organize and maintain inventory conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Pick pack and ship orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Inspect products for defects or damages and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Physical ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bending and Stooping: Frequent bending stooping and crouching to handle materials or operate equipment.
  • Reaching and Climbing: Ability to reach above shoulder level and occasionally climb ladders or step stools to access inventory.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Capability to push and pull carts pallets or equipment.
  • Manual Dexterity: Precise handeye coordination for tasks like packaging operating machinery or scanning items.
  • Visual and Auditory Acuity: Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels identify items and detect hazards as well as the ability to hear instructions in a noisy environment.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects often up to 2075 pounds independently or with assistance.
  • Standing and Walking: Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the workday.
