Responsible for the timely delivery of loan commitments to secondary market investors and accurate gain/loss is reflected for all loans sold. Position is responsible for ensuring that loan delivery system is properly mapped to all investors to minimize lender reconciliation items that can cause delays in funding of commitment and findings during audits. Respond to questions from Sales managers Loan Officers and third party originators regarding loan programs lock policies extension requests and review exceptions to pricing.Job Accountabilities
- Fulfill loan commitments to investors including Freddie Mac Fannie Mae and Federal Home Loan Bank Chicago by utilizing investor computer software to electronically transmit loan delivery data and delivering collateral to documents custodian to ensure that all loans are delivered timely and accurately. Assist Secondary Marketing Supervisor with extensions and renegotiations of rate commitments by determining appropriate and strategic price options which satisfy both the originating source and borrower as well as maintains company productions and profitability.
- Maintain settlement data in Secondary Market Risk System for all loans by verifying pricing and investor purchase advice with commitment to ensure that accurate gain/loss is reflected for all loans sold.
- Export XML Early Check file from Secondary Marketing Risk System to identify potential eligibility and data quality issues prior to loan delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring XML delivery file from Secondary Marketing Risk is mapped correctly and in the appropriate formatting and assist secondary marketing manager in ongoing development/maintenance. Including using SQL to code conversion changes.
- Create and run queries in Secondary Market Risk System and export reports for Secondary Marketing and other departments.
- Executes best effort trades and loan level mandatory trades with investors by phone or computer under the direction of secondary marketing supervisor.
- Assist with pricing model updates pricing distribution report generation and daily activities of the secondary marketing trading analyst.
- Assist with the pooling of mortgage loans to fulfill secondary market investor trades.
- Negotiate with Primary Investors on onetime exceptions for products that are outside allowable contract guidelines.
- Work with production group post closing and investors for resolutions on loans that are determined unmarketable.
- Assist in creating and rolling out new mortgage products for all channels of the business.
Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
Experience
- Less than 2 years Mortgage Business with knowledge of FNMA FHLMC FHA and VA products Required
