Location:Aberdeen WA Harbor Heights Daily onsite attendance is required for this position.

Salary:$4632.00 $6227.00 Monthly The salary does not include an additional 5 premium pay for employees working in an onsite 24/7 facility.
The Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF) is looking for a Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor 2to join our team to provide comprehensive services to juvenile residents to help disrupt the schooltoprison pipeline at the Juvenile Rehabilitation Harbor Heights a maximumsecurity Juvenile Rehabilitation residential facility. Our objective is to maintain a secure therapeutic environment that provides youth and young adults with the information skills and motivation to succeed outside the Institution living productive lives in the community.

The Opportunity:
You will provide comprehensive case management transition planning and counseling and treatment referral services for an assigned caseload of youth and young adults committed to Rehabilitation Administration care by the courts. You will provide developmentally appropriate trauma informed racial equitybased and culturally relevant comprehensive case management for an assigned caseload and their families within the context of Juvenile Rehabilitations (JR) integrated Treatment Model.

An equivalent education and experience totaling five 5 years.
OR
A Bachelors degree AND one 1 year of professional experience in casework counseling probation and parole social services planning directing and/or facilitating youth group activities or experience in a related field.
OR
One year as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor Assist (JRCA) or Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor 1 (JRC1.
