JLLs EMEA Data Centres Capital Markets Team are looking to recruit a Senior Surveyor / Associate for our London based team
. The role will be varied with an opportunity to be heavily involved in transactions from Day 1. The successful candidate will report into a Director however they will be expected to work with senior colleagues across the team. The role will involve working across the data centre sector throughout the EMEA region.
We are passionate about nurturing and growing peoples careers and the successful candidate will be able to tap into the varied experience of a team allowing them to flourish in the Data Centres Sector. All team members from Graduate to Director are considered to have equally important roles in contributing to the team on its journey to becoming EMEAs No1 Data Centres Investment Team.
Job Description
Preparation of Market Research Appraisals and Acquisition reports for buy and sell side instructions in the data centre sector.
Preparation of proposals / pitches for new mandates related to data centre investments.
Transaction Management for data centre properties and portfolios.
Training of Graduates and Placement Students in data centre market dynamics and valuation.
With the teams support a requirement to build internal and external client networks in the EMEA data centre market.
Comprehension of investment appraisal methods to include Income Capitalisation and Discounted Cash Flows specifically applied to data centre assets.
Key Requirements
A passion for the EMEA data centre sector and an understanding of its increased importance in the digital economy.
An ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues and clients across the EMEA region.
Strong time management / organisational skills.
An ability to maintain up to date and accurate records / logs of correspondence and documentation.
The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fastpaced international environment.
A passion to learn and solve problems related to data centre investments.
Attention to detail particularly important in the technical aspects of data centre valuation.
Excellent IT skills essential
Preparation of Information Memorandum documents for data centre properties
Assistance required on financial modelling specific to data centre investments (Training Provided)
Strong work ethic and competitive nature
RICS qualified or equivalent in relevant EMEA countries
Language skills relevant to EMEA markets would be advantageous
