Job Description
Provides Speech Therapy services to residents by assisting in the assessment and treatment development and implementation of programs and related professional in services.
Location:Lower Valley Brownsville San Benito Harlingen La Feria
Location: Mid valley: Mercedes Edcouch Elsa Weslaco Donna
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Provides Speech therapy services to clients under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist in accordance with state regulations.
- Assists the Speech Therapist in the evaluation process as needed or directed.
- Assists the Speech Therapist in identifying a problem list shortterm goals long term goals and treatment plan.
- Monitors clients response to intervention and consults with SpeechTherapistif modification is indicated.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Adheres to SpeechTherapy Department procedures regarding documentation of
- Physical Therapy services.
- Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice department procedures and productivity standards.
- Records billable treatment times according to SpeechTherapyDepartment procedures.
- Assists with and participates in Quality Assurance Programs as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current license / registration by state of hire as an SLPA
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Current TB and CPR certifications
- Excellent Customer Service and Support skills
