Job Description

Join the Digital Health team under Shared Health in supporting the transformation of healthcare delivery across Manitoba. This initiative leverages innovative information and communication technologies to improve healthcare services and enhance systemwide collaboration. The focus is on delivering efficient and effective information management processes across the provincial health sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform business and systems analysis in support of information system implementation and process mapping.

  • Document business requirements customer needs and currentstate processes to identify capability gaps.

  • Elicit requirements from a variety of healthcare stakeholders.

  • Contribute to system implementations within clinical environments.

  • Provide leadership in the implementation or upgrade of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).

  • Support the deployment of Allscripts or Altera health technology solutions.

  • Assist in implementing Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) systems in healthcare settings.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Valid PROSCI Organizational Change Management certification (must be provided with application).

  • Degree in Business or Public Administration (copy required with application).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business and systems analysis including requirements gathering and process mapping for IT implementations.

  • At least 10 years of experience eliciting and implementing systems in healthcare settings.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing or upgrading Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in clinical environments.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Allscripts or Altera suite of products in clinical environments.

  • At least 3 years of experience implementing Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) solutions in healthcare settings.
