Eurofins PSS is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented candidate to support sample and standards management for analytical testing. This role involves receiving storing inventorying and distributing samples using computerbased asset management systems as well as preparing aliquots and labeling with automated systems
Sample Management Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- The candidate will be primarily responsible for the receipt storage inventory and distribution of samples and standards for analytical testing utilizing computerbased asset management systems.
- Prepares aliquots of samples and labels using automated systems.
- Review documentation to ensure completeness of paperwork submission. She/he/they will also be responsible for the organization and maintenance of environmental chambers and ensure that samples are stored in appropriate temperature conditions.
- Candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Candidates will need to interact with other team members from different departments to address their concerns answer their questions and assist them with their needs.
- The candidate will complete and document activities following established sitespecific GxP SOP and protocols.
- Recognizes any deviations from project guidelines determines appropriate course of action and notifies applicable personnel.
- Applicants must be willing to work around and handle unknown health risk material in a Biosafety level 2/3 Environment.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with receipt storage inventory and distribution of samples for analytical testing
- Experience with labeling and distribution of reference standards
- Experience maintaining environmental chambers
- Experience with data management is preferred
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Selfmotivated attentive to detail adaptable
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree with 2 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree in a Sciience related field
- Experience in customer service or strong communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
