Job Description

The hospital is a small independent critical access hospital. The position is ideally suited for a boarded FP/IM/ER physician with ER experience. We have a current need for PRN emergency physician that is open to working weekends.

Job Details:

Daily volume runs 1520 patients per day
12 and 24 hour shifts
Flexible scheduling
EMR system is Meditech.
Dictation is Dragon
A Malpractice Insurance paid.
Independent Contractor status 1099 status
Potential signon for fulltime physicians.

Alma is Georgia s Blueberry Capital hosting the Blueberry festival each June.

No traffic

Proximate to Atlantic and Gulf Beaches

Many historical sights to visit.

Availability of locally grown food

Small town feel with big city amenities.

Proximity to Atlanta is a threehour drive and 90 minutes to Savanah.

Requirements

EM experience required.

Board Certified/Board Eligible FM IM or EM

Current ACLS ATLS and PALS certifications
