JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Physician Assistant Urology

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Saranac Lake NY

Service Setting: Outpatient

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 06/02/2025 08/29/2025

Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: TBD

Case Mix: Urology

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Urology

Support Staff Available: Practice Manager

Reason for Coverage: Vacation Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Urologic assessments

Minor procedures (if trained)

Assistance in operative procedures (if applicable)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NY State Physician Assistant License

Certifications: NCCPA Certification

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urology

Other Qualifications: Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills; strong communication abilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct patient assessments including medical history and physical exams

Collaborate with supervising urologist on treatment plans

Diagnose and treat urological conditions

Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment options

Monitor patient progress and manage followup care

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulations
