Transactional Data Analyst (Procurement)
Our client in the mining industry is seeking a detailoriented and analytical professional to support procurement operations across six business units in the US and Canada. This role contributes to the automation and optimization of procurement processes within the MRO (Maintenance Repairs Operations) categories helping to execute global procurement strategies effectively. This position offers valuable exposure to procurement functions in a global datadriven environment.

Salaried: $40 to $42 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $45 to $47 per hour.
6month contract with the possibility of renewal.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a designated business unit to improve automation KPIs and drive measurable efficiencies in procurement operations.
Support data tasks such as generating reports updating price agreements and providing spend data supplier insights and contract requirement support.
Troubleshoot transactional system issues raised by suppliers and internal teams ensuring timely resolution.
Consolidate and develop data to create actionable reporting tools and improve team reporting processes.
Work closely with team members to identify and implement process improvements including automation and system integrations.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in a related field (preferred).
1 3 years of experience in report preparation data analysis and providing strategic insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel (analytical and quantitative skills).
Proven experience and/or knowledge of SAP (especially procurement and data master modules).
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps (e.g. Power BI Power Automate Modeldriven apps) is an asset.
Strong skills in data modeling and standardization approaches.
Highly organized systematic and detailoriented.
Continuous improvement mindset with initiative to drive change.
Strong team player with collaborative interpersonal skills.
Ability to represent the organization with integrity professionalism and commitment to performance.
Bilingualism in French and English essential to support internal stakeholders and suppliers across Canada and the United States.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
