IT Project Manager (Actuarial)
This role supports a client in the actuarial reassurance technology domain. The successful candidate will lead one or two projects within a group responsible for managing portfolios financials and budgets. Strong project management capabilities and clear communication are essential for success.

Salaried: $45 to $48 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $54 to $57 per hour.
18month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
Conduct regular calls and status updates to monitor project progress.
Follow up with team members to ensure timely task implementation.
Communicate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure proper documentation and signoff.
Align expectations across teams and maintain followup with architects.
Obtain Delegation of Authority (DOA) for the project and manage full project estimation.
Manage resource planning project logs and status reporting.
Handle financial management and prepare project cost estimations.
Identify issues and risks taking steps to mitigate them effectively.
Maintain clear professional communication with all stakeholders and team members.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering.
PMP certification is required.
4 to 9 years of experience as a Project Manager (L2 level).
Experience with requirement gathering and Business Requirement Documentation (BRD).
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including SQL and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate.
Prior experience with OLAP and OLTPbased data analytics and business intelligence systems.
Knowledge of GFT processes is considered an asset.
Domain knowledge in actuarial practices is an advantage.
