Job Description
At Conexwest we do more than just rent and sell containers we help businesses build store and move smarter. Based in California with a growing national footprint we re a onestop shop for all things containers. From custom modifications to fast delivery we make it happen. And now we re looking for an experienced Location Manager to lead production at our Oakland CA site.
What You ll Be Doing
As our new Location Manager you ll be the goto person for keeping things running smoothly at our Oakland yard. You ll lead a solid team manage daytoday ops and make sure our customers get topnotch service.
You ll be in charge of things like:
- Overseeing container inventory modifications loading/unloading and dispatch
- Leading training and motivating a team of production drivers and admin staff
- Tracking performance metrics and making smart calls to boost efficiency
- Keeping safety quality and customer satisfaction front and center
- Coordinating with other departments like sales customer service and logistics
- Solving problems on the fly and keeping projects on schedule
What We re Looking For
We re looking for someone who s got experience running a site or mediumscale operations ideally in the container construction logistics or equipment rental space.
Requirements
- Know the ins and outs of container yards or similar environments
- Have leadership experience and enjoy being handson
- Are organized proactive and calm under pressure
- Are comfortable with basic tech tools and operational systems
- Know how to communicate well with both your team and customers
- Are safetyfirst solutionfocused and teamoriented
