Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and deep knowledge of commercial insurance products. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients providing exceptional customer service and growing a commercial lines book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients providing expert advice and guidance on insurance products and coverage options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate policies review renewals and ensure accuracy of coverage and pricing.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans to grow the commercial lines business through crossselling upselling and client referrals.
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends changes in regulations and new insurance products to provide proactive insights to clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance with a strong understanding of insurance products underwriting and risk management.
  • Proven track record in account management and client retention with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A valid P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license is required.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISR CIC) are preferred.
