Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Logistics Coordinator within a plastics company based in the Eastern Cape.
The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
- Receiving and verifying FG stock and secondary packaging.
- Ensuring timeous and correct distribution of products.
- Solving problems and stock discrepancies identified.
- Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to Customers.
- Ensuring stock is handled correctly.
- Monthly stocktaking.
- Managing of FG Stores and Distribution team.
- Managing the fleet (internal trucks and drivers).
- Planning function (interbranch and production).
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Matric Supply chain or Logistics qualification advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Stores Supervisor or Management experience essential.
- Must have some Distribution and/or transport experience.
- Intermediate excel.
- Experience on SAP or similar ERP system advantageous.
