Hiring for the 2425 school year 10 month position 6.5 hours per day!
Position includes:

Title:Middle School Kitchen Helper
Reports to:Kitchen Manager and/or Production Lead
General Summary:Assists with the preparation serving and cleanup of food for students.
Essential Functions:
- Performs assigned duties associated with the preparation of meals. Cooks and bakes food prepares individual portions and performs other food preparation duties as assigned.45
- Cleans equipment used including utensils dishes mixers and machines. Performs general cleaning duties in the kitchen. 25
- Performs miscellaneous food service duties as assigned including acting as a cashier for lunch (secondary only) putting machines together counting money ordering and putting away supplies and securing food in containers for shipment to other school kitchens. 20
- Serves prepared food to students. 10
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Able to interact with students building staff kitchen staff and supervisors in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in highvolume food preparation and serving is desired. School kitchen experience is preferred.
- Required upon hire to take Food Handlers Class within 30 days of employment.
- Other requirements:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff students and others.
- Ability and willingness to follow work instructions in all areas of foodservice and maintain a positive attitude toward the foodservice program.
- Ability to report to work on time and notify manager at the earliest possible time when unable to work.
