Media Production Studio Facility Manager

Join the Faculty of Arts as the Facility Manager for the new Media Production Studio and take the lead in shaping an exciting stateoftheart creative space.

Based at the Parkville campus the Facility Manager will provide overall management of the Studio facility including supervision of staff and providing handson technical support for academics or others using the facility for teaching or research.

This is a unique opportunity to establish and oversee a cuttingedge facility that will support teaching research and engagement activities in media production.

We are looking for an experienced film production professional with a strong technical background in video and postproduction ideally with experience in a tertiary education or training environment.

You have a proven track record of managing technical staff providing handson training and troubleshooting issues in real time enabling you to effectively support film production activities in a dynamic educational setting.

The Media Production Studio
Located in the heart of the Arts Precinct on Parkville Campus the soon to be complete
Media Production Studio comprises a suite of contemporary and flexible audio television and multimedia studios along with control rooms editing capability and equipment to enable the development of media skills. The facility also includes a loans desk for media equipment hire and will assume operational responsibility for the existing Horwood Recording Studio.

While the Faculty of Arts will be the primary users of the space all faculties will be encouraged to collaborate and access the facility.
