Job Description

At Avery Dennison we are looking for a Manager Product Regulatory Compliance Food Contact Materials to join our Product Stewardship team based in Oegstgeest. 

In this role you will look to remove all regulatory compliance related barriers throughout product development & distribution activities for all our products within the Label and Graphic Materials portfolio (for both existing and new applications). It is essential that the Manager Product Regulatory Compliance is able to effectively identify & communicate threats and opportunities from a product compliance perspective to all relevant stakeholders.

You will have a significant impact by protecting our brand and by supporting Avery Dennisons mission to deliver innovative products and intelligent solutions to customers all over the world.

The position will be located at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest the Netherlands reporting to the Senior Product Stewardship Manager EMENA (who is also based in Oegstgeest).

Tasks and Responsibilities: 


Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated success in a similar role within an international fastpaced industrial environment 

  • Education on an academic level (Master or Bachelor degree) in a relevant discipline (s.a. Chemistry Chemical Engineering Biology (toxicology) Pharmacy Food science) 

  • Knowledge of food contact safety and compliance is a requirement

  • Engineering knowledge and technical acumen with an ability to understand technical specification and communicate the implications to nontechnical people

  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects and assignments exercising frequent independent judgment initiative and tact

  • Experience in handling highly confidential matters

  • Proven ability to interface with crossfunctional groups to define and execute overall requirements  

  • Strong Analytical skills and consistent eye for detail 

  • Proficient written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent timemanagement organizational and project management skills
