Senior QA Engineer

You may have been working as a Software Engineer in Test Test Engineer or Test Analyst who is confident in their ability performing automation testing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using various tools for client applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and execute test strategies and test plan.
• Develop Automation framework and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
• Test case review and automation code review
• E2E system automation by adopting automation strategy and best practices of automation.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Providing support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide development.
• Participate in sprint planning daily standups and retrospective meetings.
• Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
• Providing test estimates

Qualifications :

• Total 6 years of manual Automation QA experience
• Handson experience on creating automation framework and Implementation.
• Hands on experience on microservices testing
• Rich experience with Cypress testing using custom commands writing locators.
• Working in Agile and deep understanding of Agile working and understanding of agile terms (Velocity Burndown Scrum Sprint Product backlog and Sprint Backlog Retro story points etc)
• Strong testing concepts in different types of testing their dependencies and stages
• Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight crossbrowser functional nonfunctional API integration and acceptance tests.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins CircleCI).
• Experience in Test scope understanding Test UserStory/Task/subtask creation
• Experience in Test case review and automation code review
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and RESTful APIs.
• Delivered front end crossbrowser automated functional testing exploratory systems integration and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins CircleCI).
• Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java JavaScript Python or C#
• Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium WebDriver JUnit).
• Any performance testing experience or other nonfunctional testing experience would be beneficial.

• Testing Tools and Technologies: Appium Docker Kubernetes Postman Jenkins Java Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA Linux TestNG Selenium SQL
• Very good Database testing experience writing queries views joins etc..
