Job Description
What Youll Do
Data Warehousing & Transformation:
Optimize our data infrastructure on Google Cloud ensuring efficient storage seamless integration and robust transformation processes that prepare data for deepdive analytics.Advanced Analytics & Statistical Modeling:
Apply predictive modeling regression analysis clustering and A/B testing techniques to uncover trends and patterns that drive strategic business decisions.Looker Dashboarding & Visualization:
Create deploy and maintain interactive realtime dashboards using Looker. Develop custom visualizations that enable stakeholders to monitor KPIs and performance metrics at a glance facilitating prompt and informed actions.Collaborative Innovation:
Partner closely with data scientists data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements validate insights and ensure that analytical solutions align with organizational objectives. Advocate for best practices in data testing automation and version control.Continuous Learning & Improvement:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies on the Google Cloud Platform. Regularly evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies to enhance our data engineering and analytics capabilities.- Design & Develop CloudBased Data Pipelines:
Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Google Cloud services such as BigQuery Cloud Dataflow and Cloud Storage. Transform raw data into highquality actionable datasets ready for analysis.
Qualifications :
Educational Background:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Data Science or a related field.Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in SQL for advanced querying and data manipulation.
- Skilled in Python for data processing scripting and pipeline automation.
- Handson experience with Google Cloud Platform services particularly BigQuery Cloud Dataflow and related tools.
- Proven experience with Looker including designing and deploying dashboards that drive actionable insights.
Analytical & Modeling Skills:
Demonstrated ability to build and implement statistical models perform predictive analytics and execute data transformation techniques to support strategic initiatives.Engineering Mindset:
Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as version control CI/CD testing and documentation. A proactive approach to building scalable and reliable data solutions.Collaboration & Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of working collaboratively in crossfunctional agile environments. Ability to translate technical data insights for nontechnical audiences.
