Across Australia Just Better Care provides inhome aged care supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years we have been supporting older people and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Our friendly compassionate and experienced team makes this possible.

We will prioritise applicants in the Southern and Central suburbs!

We are hiring Personal Care Workers and Domestic Assistance Workers (cleaning).

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Personal care: showering dressing grooming and medication assistance

  • Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation

  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

  • Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of customers and reporting on their progress

  • Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

  • Caring compassionate & friendly

  • Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

  • Reliable & dependable

  • Ability to build rapport & good working relationships

  • Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need (mandatory):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check

  • Current First Aid certificate/CPR

  • Manual Handling certificate
  • Current Australian Drivers License

  • Reliable registered and insured vehicle

  • Smart phone with internet access

Preferred:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care Home & Community Care Individual Support or Disability Services
