Job Description
Apple Roofing is currently looking for a class A CDL Driver.
Responsibilities
- Deliver roofing materials
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Load unload prepare inspect and operate delivery truck
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load pack wrap label ship)
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures rules and regulations
Requirements
- Valid Drivers license and Class A CDL
- Ability to operate a forklift and a crane truck in a professional and safe manner
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time
