Position Summary
Heath is seeking a detailoriented and organized eCommerce Content Producer to manage and maintain our ecommerce storefronts content and product information within the Shopify platform and our custom media manager. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated Shopify Plus and web merchandising experience to support our eCommerce team on a temporary parttime basis. This role will focus on maintaining our online store product catalog ensuring products are wellpresented accurately depicted and optimized for conversion. Position Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the product listings within Shopifys product catalog including images descriptions and categorization following brand guidelines site norms and general web best practices
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams (Buying Creative: Photography and Brand Writing) to gather all necessary product information
- Demonstrate ownership for digital product lifecycle management ensuring an optimal shopping experience for site visitors
- Update and maintain the homepage landing pages and content pages in Shopify with direction from the Content Designer
- Assist with collection merchandising in collaboration with creative and sales teams
- Perform site content updates using Shopify Matrixify Accentuate and Heaths custom media manager
- Troubleshoot basic Shopify issues and collaborate with the Web Team as needed
- Complete thorough QA of site on a regular basis as well as for special project initiatives checking for accuracy and ensuring excellent customer experience
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in web merchandising for eCommerce
- Proficiency in Shopify Plus (including managing products collections and basic customizations)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of SEO best practice
- Experience using Figma for layout planning and visual merchandising
- Strong copywriting skills
Work Environment/ Hours / Compensation
This is a temporary parttime role for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension with an expected schedule of 20 hours per week. The position is hybrid with Tuesdays as our anchor inoffice day. We have a beautiful office space and warmly encourage you to work from it beyond that day if youd like!
The hourly pay range is $45.00$55.00 depending on experience.
Only candidates based in the Bay Area will be considered for this role.
