Job Description
Are you a talented Network Engineer with a passion for designing and delivering cuttingedge network solutions
Join our team and play a crucial role in supporting infrastructure and business projects both onpremise and cloudbased.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with suppliers 3rd parties and internal design specialists/architects to transform highlevel ideas into detailed technical designs.
- Provide guidance on availability security compliance and capacity planning for proposed solutions.
- Partner with technical and nontechnical teams as well as third parties to specify deploy test document and implement new systems.
- Offer technical advice on projects ensuring seamless planning testing documentation and implementation.
- Contribute to virtual project teams to deliver innovative project designs and new solutions.
- Work with Infrastructure support teams and project managers to translate requirements into actionable steps and design specifications.
- Provide efficient and reliable 3rd line support assistance when needed.
- Fully engage with thirdparty suppliers to meet security requirements across the retail and digital estate.
This role is a field based role and will require weekly travel to our venues across the UK. There may also be the opportunity to travel internationally although this will be less frequent.
Qualifications :
- Network Engineering experience is a must and the successful candidate will have recognised qualifications and/or demonstrable experience within Network Engineering.
- This role is field based and the successful applicant most be able to travel to sites in the UK sometimes this may to offices located in Europe and beyond.
- Experience in Firewall Technologies: Checkpoint Fortigate Cisco Firewall experience desirable.
- ITIL certification or experience of working with ITIL approaches and practices including incident problem & change management.
- Demonstrates sense of passion and pride about own work. Positive attitude and adapts well to change. Inspires passion and excitement around shared goals promoting environment of achievement.
- Ability to develop and deliver clear concise communication and communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately.
- Ability to identify influence and work collaboratively with internal Stakeholders and key external service providers.
