What youll do
We are currently looking for casual General Purpose Hands (GPH) working across a 7 day per week roster where you will be responsible for a high level of interaction with maritime customers.
As the face of the company this opportunity will be responsible for assisting with vessel operations while providing a customer service to the passengers on board. This is a handson position assisting passengers fulfilling GPH and cleaning duties.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Work under the direction of the Master to maintain a safe and compliant marine operation.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Safe deck line and boarding hardware handling
- Cleaning of passenger cabin and deck areas in a safe and efficient manner
- Watch keeping duties as instructed by the Master
- Passenger ticket validation passenger assistance and maintain good passenger relations
- Safety and satisfaction of passengers on board
- Delivery of onboard kiosk beverage sales compliant with Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.
