As part of Singapore Operations the Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchantpartners advocating for solutions that enhance their experience and success on Grab. We work closely with business verticals (GrabFood GrabMart GrabPay OmniCommerce) as well as product finance and legal teams to drive strategic initiatives that create meaningful impact. Our role is to ensure that hyperlocal nuances are integrated into platform experiences optimizing both merchant and consumer journeys while supporting Singapores business growth and costefficiency goals.
Get to Know the Role
This role ensures a seamless secure and efficient payment experience for merchantpartners on Grabs platforms covering the full spectrum from earnings and payouts to penalties/incentives billing reporting and bad debt management. You will be responsible for optimizing payment processes and tools driving GTM strategies and designing payment frameworks that support business growth while balancing compliance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
This role will report to the Manager Merchant Operations and be onsite at Singapore Grab office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Own and manage payment policies and processes ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while maximizing efficiency and policy effectiveness
Lead country GTM planning and for product and business initiatives ensuring local nuances and operational requirements are addressed
Design and implement endtoend workflows and support solutions that enhance the merchant payment experience and enable business scalability
Enhance platform governance and experience actively monitoring and improving interactions across key merchant payment touchpoints
Identify and drive process improvements in collaboration with crossfunctional teams focusing on scalability efficiency and risk mitigation
Resolve paymentrelated issues working closely with Product Engineering and Support teams to troubleshoot and implement sustainable solutions
Qualifications :
Essential Skills You Will Need
Bachelors degree in a related field with strong academic credentials
Minimum of 3 years in operations payments or project/program management preferably in fastpaced and entrepreneurial environments
Good understanding of basic accounting and payments principles
Strong critical thinking problemsolving and analytical skills. Able to break down complex issues and drive actionable solutions
Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Selfmotivated and comfortable with ambiguity with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive cando attitude
