The Secretary will provide administrative support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) and the Financial Manager. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare type and collate reports as required by the PMU and Financial Manager.
Maintain filing systems and ensure easy access to important documents.
Assist in organizing workshops and events in coordination with the PMU.
Serve as a receptionist greeting office guests and managing visitor flow.
Provide support to the Administrative Assistant with any administrative or logistical needs.
Perform other tasks as requested by the Project Manager or Financial Manager.
Manage appointments and schedules for the Financial Manager and the PMU team.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required.
Advanced proficiency in the English language.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (with proof of ability required).
At least 2 years of professional experience in the secretarial/administrative field ideally in international organizations NGOs or private companies operating in East Africa.
