Ballys Corporation is a global casinoentertainment company with a growing omnichannel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

Come support Ballys Casino Cafe and Grill by serving guests in a fun friendly environment. While ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeping up to date with the new products recipes and preparation techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expertise to prepare all menu items across all property venues.
• Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Helps with food delivery check in for quality and quantity.
• Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items/ingredients.
• Ensures all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
• Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines.
• Opens shifts and prepares the venue for planned volumes.
• Coordinates daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
• Covers off days for Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
• Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
• Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
• Must lift and move 4050 pounds.
• Must work required shifts including weekends/holidays
• Maintain and set sanitation hygiene and safety standards.
• Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be responsible for cashier responsibilities if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a MUST!
• One plus years of experience in food service environment preferred.
• Must possess advanced knife skills knowledge of all kitchen equipment usage kitchen safety and etiquette.
• Must place an emphasis on a high level of guest service and give the best service possible

Salary: $20 (there is currently weekly incentive program which could add $400 a week!
