Job Description

Hammered Ink Promotions offers creates and sells custom branded products. We have inhouse capabilities from embroidery to print services! We tailor our offerings to other businesses and organizations looking to advertise in the real world which includes company apparel and branded goods. Our client base is solid and full of more opportunities especially as we expand our operations and hire more staff.

Our company is currently in the growth stage with many roads to pave and work your way up! We have so much opportunity for a body to dig their heels in and make their own role. We do not micromanage we love innovative and creative ideas the more you put into our company the more you get out. Although we are small we think big and make moves to get there.

We are pleased to be looking for a General Manager to join our growing team!

Position Summary

The General Manager will oversee the daytoday operations of the business. This includes liaising between customers and vendors purchasing products and apparel and working with external decorators on customized designs. The General Manager will also ensure a positive customer experience end to end. This position will work alongside the President on business strategy and development.

List of Main Responsibilities

Purchasing

  • Researching potential products vendors and services and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal
  • Creating and sending purchase orders
  • Liaising with vendors to ensure goods are received on time
  • Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock
  • Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
  • Updating all records of purchased products
  • Deal with nonsupplied under orders over orders and damaged goods

Decoration

  • Lead the coordination of design efforts with clients
  • Prepare the details of the job to send art to decorators communicating and specific details needed for the design (types of apparel mockup placement location size of art etc.
  • Work with the decorator through any questions or specifications
  • Review the quality and accuracy of the finished product

Customer Service

  • Build relationships with clients through order process
  • Work with clients to design and finalize the product
  • Share any updates/ questions from vendors/ decorators with client during production
  • Provide update to client about status or product
  • Consistently communicate with the client through the production process
  • Solve customer pain points ensure products get delivered without damages and minimize packaging materials/waste

Business Strategy/ Development

  • Audit processes & procedures in order to find opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies
  • Overseeing daily operations of the business
  • Creating new strategies for growth and putting them into practice
  • Training new staff hiring new employees managing employee performance
  • Evaluating overall productivity and performance and implementing strategies for improvement
  • Reporting on business and employee performance

List of Key Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Knowledge of ordering supplies and inventory control of these items
  • Adaptable to changing priorities in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Knowledge of entrepreneurial best practices small businesses marketing data management and strategies
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to function well in a highpaced work environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must maintain a professional manner and customer service mindset
  • Positive and engaging individual who is relationshipdriven and sets the energy of the team
  • Basic computer skills including MS Excel Word and email
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others
  • 1 year of leadership experience
  • 5 years work of experience in office administration management or similar experience
  • Uniform decoration promotional product experience are considered an asset

This position offers a comprehensive performance bonus program in addition to the base salary
