Job Description
Skilled Welder Position $19/hour
Responsibilities:
Certified Mig Welder Expertise:
Expertly weld small medium and large bore pipes made of various metals and alloys.
Possess certification as a Mig Welder.
Perform soldering and brazing on copper pipes.Mechanical Installations:
Execute complex mechanical installations according to engineering instructions.Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.Layout and Installation:
Lay out and install piping equipment and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.Documentation and Reporting:
Mark up construction drawings and specifications with asbuilt status.
Collaborate with Thermal Systems Engineers and Site Construction Manager to procure necessary tools equipment supplies and materials.Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other crews and lead persons.Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.
Qualifications:
Reading and Comprehension:
Ability to read labels safety warnings and guidelines.Basic Computer Skills:
Capability to learn basic computer skills for communication and documentation.Safety Awareness:
Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety.Communication Skills:
Ability to receive and follow instructions and effectively communicate with coworkers.
