Job Description
Intertek is searching for aBusiness and Operations Leadto join our Foodteam in ourSaskatoon SK laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career infood testing services!
TheBusiness and Operations Leadis responsible for developing and implementing companys operation and financial goals and strategies to drive growth profitability and continuance for our laboratory operations.
What youll do:
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing / prospective customers to drive business growth.
- Drive sales activities to acquire new business and opportunities.
- Handle special enquiries and complaints from customers.
- Prepare forecast on revenue and expenses in line with budgets.
- Manage customers enquiries quotations jobs progress invoicing and payments.
- Ensure laboratory always adheres legal requirements and regulations from accreditation body.
- Provide adequate and timely information to the General Manager.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
- University degree in an analytical science subject preferably microbiology chemistry or food science.
- 13 years working experience with sound exposure to laboratory work environment.
- Highly selfmotivated and proactive with excellent customer skills
- Strong language skill and highlevel computer ability.
