Job Description
What youll be able to do:
- Drive engineering teams towards containment and resolution of issues raised from design reviews virtual builds and build events to protect the programs schedule to prototype build dates start of production and ongoing production
- Maintain supplier relationships in collaboration with Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries for build events
- Monitor work outputs and deliverables for potential systems and vehicle incompatibilities and opportunities for greater integration velocity and collaboration.
- Ensure problems are transparent and risks are identified and proactively ensure that risk mitigating actions are ongoing within relevant engineering teams
- Set agenda for key decisions to be made at each meeting to eliminate bottlenecks and retire risks
- Support key decisions working crossfunctionally across engineering finance and strategy to reach the right conclusions
Responsibilities
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Detailed knowledge of the product development process from design development validation and industrialization
- Knowledge of the materials processes & technologies used to deliverautomotive structure systems or equivalent products
- Proven experience driving progress on multiple projects across multiple locations and timelines
- 5 years of experience in an automotive product development environment
- Experience with Catia V5/6 Confluence and Jira applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An eagerness to work crossfunctionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team
- A system approach with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct and relevant TPM experience in developing complex structures
- Ability to postprocess CAE data (META Altair Hyperview etc.
- EE fundamentals (able to develop and read block diagrams etc.
