Job Description
Cath Lab Technologist / Specialist Contract Position 13 weeks contract
- Location: Rochester NY 14621
- Weekly Payrate: $2720 $2960
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: 10hour Day
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Assist the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angioplasties stent placements and pacemaker/ICD implantations.
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment (fluoroscopy hemodynamic monitoring etc..
- Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document all procedures equipment use and medications accurately.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or certification in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- EP / Cath Lab experience is required.
- Cath Lab scrubbing experience required including structural.
- Proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment.
- AHA BLS Certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75mile radius qualify for travel pay.
