Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Application Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for power generation products and systems. This role will focus on assisting customers with the selection installation troubleshooting and optimization of products and systems. You will work closely with sales teams to identify customer needs support product sales and help drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Selection & Support: Help customers choose the appropriate products for their systems and components ensuring compatibility and performance.

Technical Assistance: Provide support throughout the product lifecycle including installation calibration troubleshooting and problemsolving for products and related systems.

Customer Engagement & Sales Support: Travel as needed to assess customer needs showcase product capabilities and assist in the sales process for power generation products and systems.

CrossFunctional Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with sales teams to ensure timely and effective support for systems application in alignment with sales plans.

Product Presentations & Promotion: Present products systems and solutions at customer conferences and industry events as coordinated by the sales team.

Marketing & Industry Participation: Contribute to product promotion through literature reviews and participate in trade shows technical conferences and industryspecific educational events.

Market Feedback & Product Development: Collaborate with marketing and project teams to provide feedback on market trends customer needs and help define successful product specifications.

Market Research: Assist in identifying market needs conducting competitive analysis and gathering industry insights to inform business strategy.

Technical Presentations: Represent the company by delivering technical papers at industry conferences and events.

Sales Tools Development: Contribute to the creation of application notes and other tools to support sales and product adoption.

Team Leadership: Lead and guide other application specialists in daytoday activities ensuring cohesive teamwork and efficient service to customers.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years as an Application Specialist Systems or 10 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of power generation systems analog and digital circuitry.

Skills & Knowledge:
-
Strong technical expertise in power generation systems and electrical engineering.

Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing and engineering.

Additional Requirements:
-
Willingness to travel up to 50 of the time within the assigned sales territories.
