Join the Haztech Team as a Security Guard
Exciting opportunity! Haztech is seeking qualified Security Guards to join us on a full time basis in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. If you re a licensed security professional looking for a dynamic work environment we want to hear from you!
Position Overview:
As a Security Guard you ll play a critical role in protecting people property and assets across various commercial industrial and public settings. From patrolling premises to managing access control and responding to incidents your vigilance and professionalism will help ensure safety at all times.
What You ll Do:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas
- Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV alarms)
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Assist with crowd control and deescalation when necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed
- Maintain a visible professional presence at all times
What You ll Bring:
- Completion of the 40hour Saskatchewan Justice Security Guard Training Course (Required)
- Valid Security Guard License (Saskatchewan)
- Clear criminal record check and ability to maintain security clearance
- Valid Class 5 Driver s License
- First Aid/CPR certification (Preferred)
- Deescalation Training
- ExMilitary / Police (Preferred)
- Excellent observation communication and conflictresolution skills
- Ability to stay alert and professional in all conditions
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to various job sites
