Job Description
Are you a forwardthinking Full Stack Developer passionate about solving complex problems with scalable and innovative solutions NS2 Mission is looking for a talented individual to join our collaborative team in Chantilly VA. As a Full Stack Developer youll play a key role in designing and delivering cuttingedge software solutions that elevate industry standards and drive our technological excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain highquality software and APIbased solutions tailored to client needs.
- Build highly available REST API services that meet enterprise business and mission objectives.
- Automate API documentation using tools like Swagger to ensure uptodate and easily accessible technical information.
- Perform rigorous unit testing and apply testdriven development (TDD) principles.
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment participating in sprints standups and pair programming.
- Work with cloud services such as AWS (S3 RDS SNS SQS) to support application architecture.
- Employ security best practices during software development.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 15 years in software engineering with a proven track record of delivering quality solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining REST API services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and services particularly AWS.
- Handson experience with tools for unit testing and TDD.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for a teamoriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with serverless computing and eventdriven architectures.
- Handson experience with DevSecOps practices and tools like Git Jenkins and Ansible.
- Proficiency in performance testing and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
